Founded in 2017, GAC New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. (GAC NE), the latest division of the GAC Group (a group of companies producing Fiat, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Toyota cars in joint ventures), is engaged in innovation and development of electro cars. The Aion LX is an electric SUV equipped with the latest intelligent driving technology, including autonomous driving assistance level 3, and uses solar power to create an energy efficient interior cabin. Featuring a 2900mm wheelbase and standard CDC adaptive suspension with damping control, it delivers high performance with reduced energy consumption, accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 3.9 seconds.
