Battery
The battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in 28 minutes, and the NEDC range can reach almost 120 km in 10 minutes with sufficient charging capacity in winter conditions.
For normal operation in the range of -30 ℃ to 55 ℃, the advanced temperature control technology of the battery is applied.
The battery pack has been reduced to 110mm (below industry standard of 140mm). Its dustproof and waterproof design meets the highest IP68 standard, providing 48 hours of resistance to dust and water under 1 meter of water.
The P7 also has an outstanding overload capability. The 3-in-1 drive system is the first in the world to be equipped with the German Infineon 950 IGBT module, capable of delivering 580A DC current to the motor within 40 seconds!

In order to achieve low centre of gravity and low height, a very flat battery was developed. Unlike the Tesla, which uses Panasonic round batteries.

XPENG
Xiaopeng was founded in 2014 by two investors: Alibaba and Xiaomi. Porsche engineers are involved in car design. Production in Guangzhou, office in California. In 2017, Xiaopeng leaves Alibaba and becomes XPENG. Former Tesla engineer participated in the development of the autopilot. Soon, a representative office in Norway will appear.
The factory completed the production of 10,000 Xpeng P7s less than 160 days, a record among new EV makers in China.
